It is with great sadness that the Round Tower
Churches Society has cancelled the 2020 programme of visits.
The Norfolk Church Tours have also been
cancelled, said ‘Lyn Stilgoe, who is the RTCS’s secretary.
The early season church tours, which had been
scheduled to start in April and May, had been postponed following the
announcement of the Covid-19 lockdown on March 23.
As the Government has given no indication when
places of worship may be permitted to re-open, it was decided to cancel both
tour programmes.
It is hoped that it will be possible to
re-arrange the tours in 2021.
