Welcome to the latest edition of The Round Tower, the Society’s 32-page full colour quarterly magazine.
An increasing number of members have opted to take the e-edition, which has the added advantage of saving postage for the Round Tower Churches Society.
As Royal Mail has announced a 10p increase in second class postage to 85p from April 1, 2024, there is a further incentive to members and supporters to sign up for the e-edition. Currently about 5pc of members have elected for the e-edition and paper copies of The Round Tower were posted last weekend.
The latest magazine includes a picture spread of the Society’s golden jubilee anniversary year celebration of Festal Evensong at Norwich Cathedral last month. Other features include an update on the re-building of St Mary’s Church, Beachamwell, and the work starting this month on a £450,000 project to revitalise the “church in the field” at St Peter, Haveringland, near Norwich,and urgent repairs carried out at Weeting, St Mary the Blessed Virgin.
