Author and authority on East Anglia’s churches, Roy Tricker, will be talking about the history of St Mary’s, Rickinghall Inferior, on Friday, May 13.
All are welcome to his free lecture, which starts at 7pm. Donations will be welcome, which which help the church meet the shortfall in funds required to carry out repairs to the north side of the chancel roof.
The Round Tower Churches Society awarded £4,000 towards the repair costs at its latest committee meeting in March 2022.
Work is expected to start later this summer.
