The Round Tower Churches Society:
* is a registered charity
* was founded in 1973
* has more than 500 members, with a variety of interests
* works for the preservation of the buildings
* investigates further their origins and history
* has made grants to more than 140 of these ancient, beautiful and interesting buildings
* visits local groups to give illustrated talks about the churches


Our founder W.J. (Bill) Goode:
* devoted his retirement to a detailed study of all the known churches
* published the definitive book “Round Tower Churches of South East England”
